Introduction
Among the various determinants driving vaccination coverage down, such as access issues, lack of information about the recommendations, or excessive financial costs (Larson et al., 2014; Phillips et al., 2017), vaccine rejection has become a growing concern, so much so that the World Health Organization has placed vaccine hesitancy on its list of global threats to public health (WHO, 2019). The factors interrelated with vaccine rejection are numerous. Usual explanations proposed for this rejection range from cognitive biases to a growing disinformation on the internet, interest for conspiracy theories, or lack of information and comprehension regarding vaccines (Ward and Peretti‑Watel, 2020).
