Functions

The members of the committee are proposed by the office to the Editorial Board and then confirmed by the Board of Directors. Spontaneous applications from researchers wishing to participate in the editorial board are also possible and should be sent to the journal's management.

The Editorial Board receives the varia articles, the texts of the sections, the calls for thematic articles, the agendas and detailed minutes of the meetings.

The members of the Editorial Board attend the meetings, or react by e-mail after receiving the agenda and/or the detailed minutes of the meetings.

They are regularly solicited to give their opinion on calls for articles, on articles and to propose potential reviewers.

They act as a relay for the journal within their institution, network, region or country: they make the journal known, put the editorial staff in contact with potential partners, solicit authors for articles, expertise, teams for thematic issues.

They provide the journal with information that could be included in the columns

They participate in the prospective of the thematic issues, by bringing to the discussions the news of the research fronts.

Board of Directors

The Journal of Alpine Research | Revue de Géographie alpine is owned by the Association pour la Diffusion de la Recherche Alpine – ADRA.

Its Board of Directors meets three times a year. It ensures that the functioning of the journal is financially sound, makes editorial decisions, and monitors the different publications. Its role is defined in the Articles of Association (dated 15 January 2004).
