The Revue géographique de l’Est is an academic journal analysing the physical and human geography of Europe. It is run by universities in France, Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg and deals with the movements, approaches, and methods of the various geographical schools and currents today. It offers articles, notes, and reviews relating to the European continent, particularly the Rhineland, Germany, eastern Europe, and the Near East. It includes abstracts in several languages. The journal is published by the Association des géographes de l’Est, located at the Université Nancy-II. It also receives support from the universities of Besançon, Dijon, Metz, Mulhouse, Reims, Strasbourg-I and the Centre national du livre.
