1Le volume rassemble une dizaine d’articles issus de communications présentées à l’International Medieval Congress de Leeds en 2008. Ils traitent de la thématique de l’arbre comme diagramme, schéma d’organisation d’un contenu – l’arbre de Jessé, l’arbre généalogique, l’arbre logique de Porphyre – et dans l’iconographie, notamment au jardin d’Eden.
