Mondes du tourisme is a multidisciplinary research journal that aims to be a hub for scientific work devoted to the study of the social, cultural, spatial and economic mechanisms of tourism. Founded in 2010, it is published by the GIS Études touristiques (Scientific Interest Group on Tourism Studies) carried out by the University of Angers, with the support of ESTHUA, National Institute of Tourism-INNTO France and the University of Lausanne. The journal publishes in French or English. It produces two thematic issues per year and publishes articles, critical reviews, concepts, carte blanche papers and thesis reports on an ongoing basis in the Varia collection.
