A presentation of text selection procedures
The evaluation and selection procedures of the texts are as follows.
Acknowledgment of receipt
Teoria politica acknowledges reception of a paper within 10 days via e-mail.
Evaluation
All manuscripts published are subjected of an external double blind peer review process with the exception of papers written on the request of the Director. After receiving the referees the Editorial Board will decide on publication. Referees are requested to hand in their opinions within a maximum of 30 days so the final decision can be communicated to authors within 2 months from the acknowledgment of receipt of the manuscript.
Acceptance
If the reviews made by the anonymous specialists are favourable, the manuscript will usually be accepted on the condition that the author takes into consideration the comments expressed in the reviews.
Revise and resubmit
If referees are overall positive but suggest revision and changes, the author will be invited to consider the specialists’ comments and resubmit a revised text. When the Editorial Board receives the revised manuscript, it will verify that the suggested revisions have been applied and will then publish it. Otherwise, the paper shall be considered rejected.
