Séries et espace
This issue explores the fictional geographies of television series to better assess the way they impact and shape our perception of the real world. It brings together scholars from a wide range of disciplines (visual studies, narratology, history, phonology, linguistics, etc.) to examine how geographical spaces, real or fictional, are (re)created on-screen, and to dissect the ideological discourses that are encoded within such audiovisual representations. To do so, the articles in this collection deal with contemporary television series from the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Finland.
